  2. Surgical window: when a permanent tooth eruption is difficult because the gum is fibrous, it is necessary to make a small cut in the gum to expose the tooth in the process of eruption.
  3. Mucocele removal: when the minor salivary gland is covered, usually on the inside of lip, this is filled with fluid and is necessary to remove that encapsulated liquid.
