Restorative treatments

  1. Resins: they are used to restore teeth that have been affected by cavities, when we have a lot of support tissue, it is the same color of the tooth. Its consistency is similar to clay and hardened by means of light, so that it is attached to the tooth.
  2. Glass ionomer: used as a temporary restoration, or in cases where we cannot control the humidity and is not possible to place a resin. It has the advantage of free fluorine after having been placed.
  3. Steel crowns: are placed when the tooth has been treated with a root canal, or when the cavity has greatly affected the tooth’s surface. The crown covers the affected tooth completely.
