Crowns of ceromer: has the same purpose as a steel crown, but when the affected tooth engages in the patient smile, this is an aesthetic choice. The ceromer is a resin that is manufactured in the laboratory and it is cooked in an oven, which makes it more resistant.
Space maintainer: when teeth are lost by trauma or early decay, a plate with false teeth, can be placed to avoid that the self esteem of the patient is affected because they have no teeth. This plate is removed when the permanent teeth begin to erupt.
Dental microabrasion: when the permanent teeth were affected by fluorosis (excess of fluorine) and these have pigments, the surface of the enamel can be polished so that the teeth have a more uniform appearance. It is not teeth whitening.
